Polavaram is part of state reorganisation bill and should not be included in package. However 100% funding by GOI is welcome but at the same time rumors of cap on expenditure, funds allocation so far, no commitment on completion period and assured funds in time frame are the concerns.
VN Garu mentioned that polavaram was conceived in 1982 and momentum started in 2014 under Modi leadership. With 150 Cr funds allocation in 2016 can VN make such claims? There is no efforts of state. You may differ or agree politically. How can you ignore the real work done by Congress from 2004 to 2011 in digging of canals and eastern dam and 2014-16 TDP pattiseema with polavaram canals. Do not try making fool out of people by oratory skills and to the extent possible be realistic and do good to people.
