IS THE HISTORY GOING TO BE REPEATED IN TAMIL NADU?  To outside world Tamil politics looks more impulsive and sentiment oriented. If one look into it deeply we get  totally different perspective. Tamilians are always looking  towards strong and stable leadership.  TN could see strong Congress  leadership in Rajaji(52-54), Kamaraj Nadar(54-63). Annadurai himself lost election from Kanchipuram in 1962. Once Kamaraj was replaced by Bhaktavatsalam in 1963, the downfall of Congress started in TN and in 1967 elections DMK under Anna established most popular anti Hindi Government in TN.  With demise of Anna in 1969,  M Karunanidhi  was natural choice as successor CM and lead party to victory in 1971 elections.
