We can understand the reasons for his not acknowledging PVNR or Rajiv, but certainly not the reasons for not acknowledging ABV leadership, who is an icon of BJP/Sangh Parivaar rule. These observations shared below were made yesterday night around 11.30 PM,while traveling back on Hyd-Mumbai highway, after attending a wedding. Mumbai HW is very high traffic road and ESI hospital is situated in thickly populated SR Nagar- Erragadda locality. GOI sanctioned medical college and it's construction is almost completed. The hostels are abutting the highway and the metro train station . At Yousufguda check post junction, there used to be a govt school, the same was removed to construct metro train track. Now in the left out site, the school is under construction. Here also it is abutting main road, metro station and shopping complex. However 100% funding by GOI is welcome but at the same time rumors of cap on expenditure, funds allocation so far, no commitment on completion period and assured funds in time frame are the concerns. VN Garu mentioned that polavaram was conceived in 1982 and momentum started in 2014 under Modi leadership. With 150 Cr funds allocation in 2016 can VN  make such claims? There is no efforts of state. You may differ or agree politically. How can you ignore the real work done by Congress from 2004 to 2011 in digging of canals and eastern dam and 2014-16 TDP pattiseema with polavaram canals. SPL STATUS VS SPL PACKAGE TO AP- (Part 1) After Arun Jaitley's press statement on 07.09.16, senior most BJP leader and union minister Venkaiah Naidu gone on record stating that GOI sanctioned many institutions to AP on his pursuance and few are already functional from rented campuses and others will start very soon and he projected it as a big favor given to AP. There are 19 IIMs, 24 IITs, 28 IIITs, 20 NIFTs, 23 CIPETs, 22 AIIMs operational/sanctioned in India. Many of them  are functioning for generation in much smaller states and AP with 5 crores population will automatically find a place. SACHIN TENDULKAR- VILLAGE ADAPTION  Sachin is visiting nellore dist and spending time in a village he adopted. As for the information gathered the developmental works taken up had impacted livelihoods in very limited scale and the stadium , godowns etc are not useful to needy.  Also other than sachin contribution major funding is from state and hence the program is accountable to public. There are rumours that these programs helped the contractors and influential individuals more than people. VILLAGE HEALTH MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS- AN INSIGHT My stay at village for last three days, gave me an opportunity to look at the health management systems. Due to cl imate change from rainy season to winter, I could see many people suffering from fever, cold, cough. In our family, couple of them are down with fever for last six days and managing with advise from a local health worker who makes home visits or relay on local chemist who give medicines based on budget. They are reluctant to go to Community Health Centre, quoting reasons such as distance, doctor availability etc. There is a general feeling the Government facilities are meant for weaker sections and poor. Due to this social stigma even the poor among the other sections are not utilizing the facilities available in village. Either they are compromising for low quality service or spending huge amounts by visiting nearby town. Similar social stigma prevail among weaker sections too. Swacch Bharath is still a dream? Will ever the dream becomes reality? Yesterday I was traveling into few towns and villages and found heaves of waste on both s ides of road. Rag pickers, pigs, cattle what not to play around and to create filthy environment. I was told cattle eating plastic waste resulting in serious health issues including conception problems.  Where is the solution? Looks like there is no serious engagement between government and local bodies. Citizens are not engaged into the system. Hence the ideas, programs are not percolating down leading to serious implementation issues. Unless until these are addressed SWACCH BHARATH will remain as dream only.
