Spl status to newly carved state of AP was assured in parliament and later cemented in election meetings by NaMo, VN.
Now BJP had taken U turn on the promise and CBN has very limited options and accepted the spl package from NDA.
Though the public voice is for spl status it is being silenced.
At least to gain trust of people of AP the present government has to accord legal status to the spl package announced. Otherwise it may go to wind like spl status.
Unfortunately there is no mention of it in budget. Let us hope they address it positively in this budget session.
