Hi Friends,
Many of us including me coming from various parts of the country to this beautiful city of opportunities "HYDERABAD", have to play major role in making it immune from local politics. It is very important for us to think strategically and take appropriate decisions at this critical juncture. You know our votes are critical and can influence the voting pattern in about 40 constituencies of newly carved state " Telangana".
Please use the vote as weapon & ensure democratic values are protected. Vote for leaders who believe in democracy and whom you feel will do good for society.

In my opinion TDP under CBN leadership committed some strategic mistakes. BJP gave big moral support during 1985 crisis & in 1999 CBN won elections easily with ABV(BJP) charisma adding to Naidu's image. 1999-2004 BJP gave lot of importance and support to TDP. After losing power to YSR in 2004, TDP broke alliance with BJP, thinking that TDP lost power due to loss of Muslim & communist votes, rather than putting blame on TDP itself.
Again in 2009 another mistake is committed by going with TRS. Another chance missed out. When Srikrishna Committee report appreciated TDP rule, CBN would have come out openly supporting united state. Rather he feared the loss of leaders in Telangana. I am sure even Telangana people would have supported him irrespective of leaders. In present scenario, I feel it is more appropriate to align with BJP and go to polls. If we recall, few months back when CBN went to Bhopal to attend swearing in ceremony of Sri. Sivaraj Patil the way he was received and respected by everyone present including Advani Jee is reflection of BJP's respect to NTR, TDP & CBN.

What a shame & insult to great leaders of Telangana. Jairam Ramesh (Kannadiga) is deciding for Telangana Congress & declared SC as Chief Minister if party come back to power. . Is it not a great insult to Telangana people. With self claimed credit for declaring separate state, Congress is taking people of Telangana for granted. It is unfortunate even after 67 years after Independence still caste is coming in the way of talent. Is new state require most talented leadership or leadership crippled with caste equation? People of Telangana have to decide. The great leaders like Jaipal Reddy, DS, Jana, VH, Uttam, Suresh, Ponnala, Damodar- why are you keeping silent and not questioning the hired leadership?.
10.03.2014
Why Jagan, Kiran & others are fearing CBN? Why they blame CBN for division of state? In fact if look back and analyze, one will understand the game. As expected YSRCP swept polls in Coastal Andhra. In lone Telangana (parkal, Warangal Dist)seat, YSRCP gave very tough fight to TRS and TDP to everyone's surprise came close third and Congress was pushed to poor 4th position. Congress decided to give serious thought to separation immediately after results. Congress already lost hopes on Seemandhra (Seemandhra congress leaders never tried to create confidence of party revival), decided to take drastic decisions related to separation. Otherwise they fear the repetition of parkal in most parts Telangana. Now decide for yourself, who is behind state separation? These type of utterances is creating a feeling that they are agents of Congress.

Congratulations. Telangana " a new born baby" . It's very important to nourish beautiful baby whose future revolves around city of opportunities" HYDERABAD". If we go back to history of this part well known as Deccan plateau always suffered with series of invasions, oppression At some point of time over 75% of Telangana was under naxal influence. It is very important for people living here to put the state in safe, secure and visionary leadership. If it gets into wrong hands, the brand Hyderabad will erode past and the baby will be under severe nourishment. I request our friends to identify safe hands in Telangana and through light, so that the people will take appropriate decision on leadership.

What sin people of Andhra Pradesh committed by electing 33 Lok Sabha members on Congress symbol. The party enjoying power with our 33 MPs (headcount ),playing jokes with over 7 crores population by inconsistent statements on statehood- 10 district Telangana, Royal Telangana, Seemandhra & many such names. If Madam Sonia Gandhi is aware our history & sentiments , she will not play around like this. Hope she will look back and understand the vision of Mrs. Indira Gandhi. Is it not the feudalistic culture prevailed in Telangana responsible for moneylenders exploitation of public. Do we forget the razakaar movement and its implications? State administration is jeopardised. Union Government has to address the concerns of Seemandhra like they considered the voices for Telangana. As it is understood the whole issue is revolving around Hyderabad. The following options shall be looked at:
1. Talk to both the areas people , leaders and address their concerns by fixing time frames and keep the Telugu state (AP) intact.
2. Consider giving special state status to Hyderabad like Delhi and ask both the states to develop their own capital cities.
3. Separate the state and keep Hyderabad as common capital forever. In this model Hyderabad will be UT like Chandigarh and Hyderabad revenue shall be shared between UT, Two new states in mutual agreeable model( probably on population basis).
Up-course separation is very painful and emotional issue. People's sentiments, resources allocation are to be addressed keeping both areas sentiments in view.

Dear Friends,
I have been toying with the idea of reverse migration for some time. The way urbanisation is happening in India, our future generations are going to have face lot of problems for housing, infrastructure etc and our cities will become larger slums. Other than improving our infrastructure, having control on growth of our cities is only the solution.
Reverse migration, back to our roots is another sustainable alternative. Most of us are living in cities for livelihood & children education. Once we are done with this task, can leave this space to the needy and move to rural or semi urban areas. Policy makers, realtors & other stakeholders have to think seriously in terms of improving infrastructure in rural/semi urban areas and can even see it as a good business model (Elders friendly integrated gated communities). Few advantages of this model are:
1. Can lead quality life in pollution free environment.
2. Can contribute to the development of under privileged by knowledge sharing.
3. Quality retirement life with peer groups.
4. Opportunity for grand children to keep in touch with village life and many more advantages.

Water sharing is very important issue. Coastal Andhra being the largest delta region in our country with Godavari & Krishna basins, it is allocated water to fully irrigate these delta regions so that it augment country's food production and address food security issues. Future course of action for people of Andhra Pradesh
It looks the separation of state is inevitable and it’s obvious that politicians from Andhra region are trying to play some skits to gain public sympathy. People has to realize that having immature and double edged politicians at helm of affairs will cost dearly and cause irreparable damage.
At this juncture it is important to all three regions to maintain restrain and move forward with positive frame of mind rather than indulging in blame games. It is evident from the fact that in last 57 years, the state progressed very well in all fronts and migration happened within the state in all regions. It is evident from the fact that over 15% of state population is living in Greater Hyderabad (State capital region), Vizag & Vijayawada and represent the cross section of population and it is very difficult and unfair to disturb present equation.
It is important to learn lessons from the previous experiences of focusing development in one or two cities; regions based reservations etc. and develop strategy for new beginning in two separate states. As the present state capital region being the hub of activity with 10% state population it is logical to make it as separate state like Delhi and make the city immune from local political environment and see that the city attracts global investments & pool of technical, intellectual resources.
Based on successful models of Ahmadabad- Gandhi Nagar, Cuttack- Bhubaneswar, we can think about developing capital cities for both states in appropriate locations probably Warangal for Telangana state and Guntur for Andhra Pradesh. Focus on governance facilities & education in capital cities and spread other investments into all major cities and towns so that employment generation is uniform across the states. Hyderabad with major IT, Financial institutions continue to grow further and act as major employment source for both states due to its geographical and linguistic advantage.

Separation of Andhra Pradesh – Issues pertaining to state Capital
It is very unfortunate that the Congress party took such a hasty step of declaring the separation of Telangana from Andhra Pradesh. It is clearly visible & obvious that the step was taken to get political gains over BJP in Centre & YSRCP, TRS & TDP in AP. The logical steps such as deliberations on Srikrishna committee report, formation of SRC, intellectual brain storming on possible repercussions, water distribution, and issues related to Mega City like Hyderabad, many such issues are being completely ignored.
We cannot compare Telangana separation issue with previous states separation happened in the year 2000. At that time Jharkhand was separated from Bihar, Chhattisgarh from Madhya Pradesh & Uttaranchal from Uttar Pradesh. Unfortunately this was also done in a hasty manner as it was suiting all political parties relevant in those states such as BJP, Congress, RJD, and JMM besides settling internal political issues. In the above referred three cases the capital city reminds with the main state and newly formed states had to develop their alternative capitals in their respective states. Whereas in case of Telangana which is getting separated from Andhra Pradesh the capital city Hyderabad is being allocated to Telangana & the main state Andhra Pradesh is asked to develop its own capital. Unfortunately Andhra is being treated like this when it was separated from Madras state. The short sited vision of Andhra region politicians did not capture the inconsistent approach of national parties on states separation or they were silenced for obvious reasons. In fact the very straight forward approach of BJP favouring smaller states is appreciable compare to game plans of Congress. It is very sad that Congress completely deviated from the approach took by Late Mrs. Indira Gandhi on states separation & the way she handled much bigger political movements. It is high time that BJP should come out with a white paper on their policy on states separation and be a role model to other parties. At least these will avoid future confusions on such issues.
Coming back to Telangana issue, as the Union Government moved forward by declaring road map for separate state, they should follow democratic approach of respecting public opinion, discussions in state assembly, council & houses of parliament and follow the recommendations emerged from such democratic forums. Instead of giving importance to passing of the separate state bill, give importance to various issues involved, process to be followed, future implications etc and then decide on future course of action instead of making hasty statements like common capital for 10 years, advantage Andhra Pradesh etc. In fact the feelings of Royalseema, minorities, settlers are to be given due consideration.
In the present scenario of globe being considered as one due to technological revolution, the creation of smaller states for administrative convenience etc is not on scientific lines and needs deliberations. Our country’s own experiences of political instability and larger social issues in smaller states is to be reviewed seriously before further moving forward in forming more smaller states.
Based on present scenario, if the separation of Andhra Pradesh is inevitable, the union Government can take it as an opportunity to declare cities such as Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, Ahmadabad, Kochi, Noida etc along with Hyderabad as national cities with union territory status. In fact with IT revolution the above referred cities are emerged as true national cities with larger presence of skilled man power coming from all over the country & overseas. The respective states shall be given an opportunity to develop their own capital cities in line with Gandhinagar, Bhubaneswar etc. This approach will make the migrant population to these national cities feel more comfortable as they are immune from regional politics, besides addressing the capital issue of Andhra Pradesh & Telangana. Also this approach will address future state wood issues in many other states. If we take the example of USA, most of the capital cities are smaller places and economic important cities are totally different. For example a smaller town Springfield is capital of Illinois State whereas Chicago is the major city flushed with commercial & employment opportunities attracting global intellectual resources.
The other issues such as water allocation, mining rights, and coast line approach to Telangana etc are to be deliberated and decided as these are common resources till date of all residents of this state. The experiences during the separation of Andhra from Madras & formation of Andhra Pradesh are to be considered while deciding on the fate of Andhra Pradesh.
Our appeal to all political parties, intellectuals, scholars etc to come out openly with ideas, suggestions in the larger interest of Telugus and contribute for the further development of our language.
