Tomatoes 8/kg, Onions 15/kg, most of the vegetables around 20/kg, Mosambi 20/kg, Pomogranate 50/kg all retail prices, imagine what will be farmers realisation. With soaring transportation costs, inputs, increased labour cost, fertilisers and pesticides farmers are mostly ending up with negative realisations, resulting in debts. IS COW ONE STOP SOLUTION FOR INDIAN AGRICULTURE? The hungama created a year back about ban on cattle sales, cattle movement and atrocities and killing of minorities and dalits indulge in cattle movement is still fresh in memory. Natural farming may be one method, but how can GOI promote it in large scale without scientific validation?
