POLITICIANS PROMISES ARE LIKE WRITINGS ON THE WALL

During AP state separation bill discussion in parliament Dr MMS made statement in the capacity of PM that AP will be given special status on far with NE, HP & UC for 5 years. VN was very vocal and demanded for 10 years.

During campaign at Tirupathi in the presence of lord Balaji, Modi ji promised that AP will be given ST for 10 years along with railway zone if BJP is voted to power. CBN insisted for 15 years. This continued in all election meetings in AP.

Once voted to power, VN was felicitated everywhere and  declared as champion of special status.

After a year or so in power , NDA started turning cold to ST and sent feelers like congress did not put it in the bill, Neeti Ayog is against ST to any state in future, ST is been withdrawn from existing states. Finally NDA govt declared that ST is not possible and spl package is announced. Regarding railway zone utter silence is being maintained.

VN garu again enjoyed one more round of felicitations across the Telugu states and now claimed as champion of special package. Though the legal status to spl package is committed by FM, so far nothing is moving in that direction and even the financing of polavaram project is missing clarity ,forget about the issues related to viability gap funding, external aided projects, clarity on funding for Amaravati, the new capital city.

To add fuel to fire, it was given to understand that spl status to existing states is being extended by another 10 year period. It is totally contradictory to earlier stand of NDA on spl status and neeti ayog recommendations (as claimed).

Why this step mother treatment to AP? We certainly deserve what was promised during state reorganisation, if not more.

CBN one of the senior most politician in the country has to prevail and ensure justice to our state. VN garu though he is out of active politics, still can prevail in his capacity of VP and do justice for his earlier promises as politician.

We Telugus are children of this beloved nation and we have equal rights like others. Please do not show step mother treatment on us.
