INFORMAL MONEY MARKETS –JOURNEY FROM DEBT TO DEATH

INFORMAL MONEY MARKETS –JOURNEY FROM DEBT TO DEATH B Guruva Reddy, B.E ( Agri. Engg ), PGDRM (IRMA) Call money rockets The very recent issue " CALL MONEY RACKETS” and their atrocities including sexual abuses reporting from Vijayawada and surrounding areas are very painful and public shame. Civil society has to bow its head down and think seriously to eradicate these abuses. It has become order of the day for media, political parties, policy makers to keep any issue live 24x7 for few days, take full commercial advantage and forget about it without finding out the causes for the issue and try to find permanent solutions. The call money issue already became causality. Media has to play vital & positive role and give comprehensive picture on the issues, reasons for debit trap, implications, exit strategies, legal support etc rather than seeing it from pure commercial advantage. Police has to look at the issue from larger perspective and ensue that these rackets pr

INDIAN SUGAR INDUSTRY- STAKEHOLDERS ENGAGEMENT

INDIAN SUGAR INDUSTRY- STAKEHOLDERS ENGAGEMENT                              B Guruva Reddy , BE (Agri. What a pity, he cannot enjoy what he produce. It reminds me of famous saying “ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD ". India is the largest consumer & second largest producer of sugar (next to Brazil). It is the second largest agro based Industry, next to cotton. Sugar & politics goes together and contributed political heavy weights to the Nation (The famous saying is that sugarcane contains 10% sugar & 90% politicks) . This year sugar production is 283 Lakh tons as against domestic consumption of 245 Lakh tons. UP, Maharashtra, Karnataka, TN, Gujarat, AP, Telangana in the order are l

Is animals more wiser than human beings? Certainly yes.

Is animals more wiser than human beings? Certainly yes. You bring one animal from the forest and put it in cage and feed it with the best of the foods available including the exotic meat cuts. Soon the animal will become very friendly with you. Trust it and allow it to come out of cage, it will grab the opportunity and run into the forest, BECAUSE FOREST IS CLOSE TO ITS HEART AND LOVE IT TO THE CORE. We human beings run behind money, name, fame and put ourselves to shame by forgetting the roots. The more you grow in socioeconomic strata, the lesser we connect to our roots. LET US LEARN LESSONS FROM ANIMALS AND GET CONNECTED TO OUR ROOTS AND CONTRIBUTE POSITIVELY FOR THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF OUR JANMABHOOMI. B G Reddy - 9866889246 grbonthu@gmail.com

Estate vs. Custodianship- Relevance in Democracy & Governance

Estate vs. Custodianship- Relevance in Democracy & Governance It is very well defined in our constitution & judiciary that the democratically elected and constitutionally held positions have to keep the country's integrity and sovereignty intact and effectively perform role of custodian and safe guard the national property against all evil forces. The oath of office and secrecy taken before getting into these positions by politicians, bureaucrats, judiciary, others, clearly define the respective position's role as custodian and attorney. Unfortunately what is happening in the country day in day out is very different from democratic defined principles. We come across so many incidents of lands being allotted at through away prices, contracts are awarded to kith and kin at escalated rates, huge scaling up of estimates in infra & development projects and many more.  Under the cover of shared responsibility, certain decisions are taken at cabinet level with su

Reaching Unreached - Still a myth after 68 years of Independence

Reaching Unreached - Still a myth after 68 years of Independence CHALLENGES TO GOVERNMENT: Welfare & Development seem to be two focus areas for any Government that is adequately resourced (for example, funds flow, investments, industrial growth). The challenge to the Government is in balancing these, while also sustaining growth, fostering inclusive development, addressing socioeconomic imbalances, all in an increasingly complex political environment. Leadership in a true democracy is expected to tackle these head-on and in an equitable manner. Efficient revenue collections, industrial growth, process innovation, optimization of intellectual resources, increased global trade, enabled IT/Financial services, and service sector growth, are some enablers of success for an economy like China. A similar commitment in the world's largest democracy India is a much bigger challenge but provides an opportunity for a leader with vision & commitment. REVENUE SOURCES:

Dr. Verghese Kurien - Father of White Revolution- An Uncrowned Bharat Ratna

Dr. Verghese Kurien -  Father of white revolution- Bharat Ratna of trillions of people  Like many young graduates, Dr V Kurien landed in Gujarat, exploring the employment opportunity he got in Anand. For a young engineer with urban background and foreign education, an opportunity to work in a small town and also with farmers/village women is very difficult to adjust/digest if it is not of liking to him.  Perhaps Dr.Kurien was at the peak of the heaven during his initial days of carrier itself as the job was of liking to him.  Working in a state filled with memories of freedom movement lead by Gandhi Jee and a strong cooperative movement spread across the state under stalwarts like Sardar Patel, Morarji Desai, Tribuvandas Patel and many others, for a person with zeal and commitment it's a God sent opportunity. Cooperative movement in the country was built on mutual trust and influenced by great and selfless personalities. Working with such personalities was an excellent oppo
